Stuart is an experienced leader with 20 years of consulting, sales and general management experience in the services sector and is well versed in value creation across a wide range of industries.
Stuart joined Charter Mason in July of 2006. As Managing Partner: Business Development, Stuart is responsible for the Business Development Governance Function within Charter Mason. He is also responsible for market positioning and plays a key role in setting & communicating the CharterMason strategy with our partners and clients. Stuart is a member of the Executive Team. He continues to advise clients on strategic sales engagements, strategic execution and enterprise value modelling.
Before joining Charter Mason he held sales director roles at Accenture and IBM as well as various consulting practice management roles for IBM across Asia Pacific.
Werner Spies | Chairman & Managing Partner :: Business Operations

Werner has a 20 year track record in financial and operational management, having led the development of a number of IT professional services ventures in the ERP and e-Commerce arena.
Werner is a founding member of the Charter Mason Consulting Group and as Chairman of the Group, heads the Board of Partners, representing the interests of the shareholders. In his role as Managing Partner: Business Operations, Werner is responsible for the Governance of all operational aspects of the organisation, including Finance, Human Resources and Commercials. Werner is a member of the Executive Team. He brings deep experience in attracting and managing organisational talent and creating value for shareholders.
Werner has been instrumental in shaping and building Combined Design Engineers, and eGlobal. In his last role prior to founding CharterMason, he led the Australian SAP practice in LogicaCMG.
Frans Kruger | Managing Partner :: Programme Delivery

Frans is a skilled and experienced Project Director and Project Manager, with an excellent track record for managing complex projects in highly politicised environments.
As a founding partner of Charter Mason and a member of our Executive Team, Frans leads our Programme business which helps clients manage complex change in their organisations. As Managing Partner: Programme Delivery, Frans is responsible for the Governance of all Consulting Functions within the organisation, including Project and Program Delivery, Quality Control and Methodologies. Before joining Charter Mason Frans held senior operational management roles successively in CDE, eGlobal and LogicaCMG and continues to consult as Programme director.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, Herriot-Watt University (UK).
Leigh Parsons | Managing Partner :: Business Development

Leigh Parsons joined CharterMason as Sales manager on 4 September 2006. Leigh became Partner in 2007 and is responsible for Business Development in the Southern Region. In 2009, Leigh became a Senior Partner in the organisation and as a Member of the Executive Team now specifically focusses on opening new accounts and growing existing business. Leigh heads the Sales Team in the Southern Region and managed to establish a solid new Client base. Leigh has extensive management, sales and technical experience spanning over 15 years in the IT industry.
He has held a number of management roles, both as a customer and a supplier, with leading organisations such as DWS, LogicaCMG, Powercor Australia CSIRO and GE Capital. His experience has been gained working in a variety of industry sectors including Energy & Utilities, Oil & Gas, Science and IT.
Peter Lotz | Senior Delivery Partner :: Melbourne

Peter Lotz joined the CharterMason Team as Project Office Manager on 1 June 2006. Peter has been active in the Business Consulting and IT industry for over 15 years and has gained significant experience in the analysis, design and delivery of business improvement initiatives including the delivery and management of resultant operational and IT projects, large and small.
As part of Frans Kruger's programme business, he contributed substantially in successfully delivering existing projects and in building an IP framework for the Programme Business. The end result being a useable set of programme management philosophies, tools and techniques for sales support purposes and for practical deployment by CharterMason staff at CharterMason customers.
Sean Elwick | Senior Delivery Partner :: Melbourne

A former Associate Partner of IBM Business Consulting Services (IBM
BCS) and an ex-Director of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young (CGEY), Sean is
an information systems professional with over 17 years experience in
consulting in the systems implementation domain. He has a long and
successful record of project and program delivery to a wide range of
global clients.
Sean has fulfilled Program Manager, Project Director
and Project Management roles on projects from strategy and portfolio
planning through to delivery. Having managed programs in clients as
diverse as Alinta, SP AusNet, NZ Police, British Nuclear Fuels Limited,
Connell Wagner, 3M, and British Airways, Sean’s career has dictated that
he has continuously dealt in new environments, industries and
technologies. These clients had varying business drivers underpinning
their initiatives and process change, Sean has successfully understood
the drivers, culture, and stakeholder politics in delivering change to
these organisations. A natural leader, Sean believes internal and
external stakeholder agreement on the identified business benefits and
what constitutes success is critical for successful project delivery.
Sean is married, lives in Melbourne and enjoys spending time with his
wife and four children which limits his time in enjoying other loves
such as football, soccer, golf, music, reading, good food and good
conversation.
Lee Cleary | Delivery Partner :: Melbourne

Lee is an experienced IT manager with a solid background in delivering a wide range of IT projects and consultancy. Her skills have been honed over 27 years in a variety of roles including consulting practice manager, programme director, commercial manage, CIO and software consultant for large global corporations and domestic Small to Medium Size Enterprises (SMEs). Lee Cleary joined CharterMason in March 2007.
Lee's primary strengths are leadership and management backed by depth in project management and directorship. Lee is experienced in profit and cost centre management, contract negotiation, vendor management, relationship management and people management. She is noted for fostering teamwork and for being results oriented.
Lee has an intimate understanding of enterprise architecture with specialisation in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and solution design, service delivery, customer service, risk assessment and management and quality assurance. The success she has achieved in managing a wide range of project stakeholders illustrates her flexible style and adeptness at relationship management.
Jody Friedman | Partner :: Placement Business
Jody Friedman has 15 years experience working in the Australian Information Technology Recruitment Industry. Jody has recruited both contract and permanent positions, specializing in both functional and technical roles. The vast majority of her experience has been for National and International Corporates, Government, Banking and Finance and Telecommunications. She has recruited from helpdesk roles through to IT Managers, Project Directors and Program Managers.
Jody has the ability to build effective relationships and has an extensive network of excellent calibre persons as well as the ability to manage contractors providing ongoing support to both clients and contractors.
She places an strong emphasis on quality and attention to detail, proving to be an excellent resource in finding the right person for the right position both technically and culturally. Her persistence and passion are ingredients for success.
Stephen Margetts | Delivery Partner :: Melbourne

Stephen is an experienced Business and IT Project Manager with a solid background in delivering complex, large scale projects and solutions. His background in Financial Audit and Fraud Investigation and Risk Management have significantly honed his business skills over 20 years in a variety of senior challenging roles across blue chip organisations including Ernst & Young; ANZ; NAB; RACV; BHP; Fosters; Aviva; True Energy; SMS and Fonterra. He was founding partner and managed a small boutique consulting practice for 6 years. He has held senior PM roles in some of Australia’s largest programmes including Euro Introduction, Y2K, GST, Sarbanes Oxley and business integration projects. Additionally, Stephen has also consulted to a number of smaller domestic organisations, proving his ability to adapt his approach and focus between large and small organisations. Stephen joined CharterMason in October 2007.

Jeff Wareing | Partner :: Business Development - Northern Region
Jeff has extensive general management, technical and sales experience spanning over 25 years in the IT industry. He has held a number senior and executive roles, both as a customer and a supplier, with organisations such as EDS, PeopleSoft, LogicaCMG, Barclays Bank and First National Bank.
He has an excellent track record in running large multi-dimensional services organisations, both from an in-sourced and out-sourced perspective.
Jeff joined CharterMason in July 2007 with responsibility for building CharterMason’s presence in NSW, ACT and Queensland.
Helen Cvjetan | Delivery Partner :: Melbourne

With over 25 years of experience under her belt, Helen is an accomplished IT professional with an excellent record of achievement in IT Strategy Development, Program Directorship and Business IT Engagement.
Helen is a highly motivated individual, and her major strenghts include identifying and delivering solutions that optimally address business needs. Helen is able to effectively coordinate the activities and requirements of business owners, technical teams and software suppliers to delivery business outcomes. She has excellent communications skills, with significant experience engaging with senior Business and IT stakeholders, and also has substantial experience with systems development life cycles.
Helen is a graduate of the Australian Intaitute of Company Directors, and is currently Vice-President of the Board of Impact Support Services.
Sandra Salvitti | Delivery Partner :: Melbourne

Sandra is a Senior Manager experienced in Business Unit Management and Project Leadership within medium to large organisations. Her expertise has been built in the delivery of significant change programs that transform business operations, increase business revenue, reduce costs and increase organisation capability. She is experienced in developing business analyst competency within medium and large organisations and has extensive Program Management experience in the delivery of multi-million dollar technology projects impacting multiple systems, effecting hundreds of end users, involving dozens of internal stakeholders and liasing with third parties suppliers. Sandra has gained the experience in diverse industries including banking, insurance, superannuation, tolling infrastructure and telecommunications
Sandra completed her MBA at Monash University in 2008, holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Univeristy of Melbourne and has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Systems with RMIT.
Lucy Elson | Delivery Partner :: Melbourne
Lucy is a project delivery specialist with 15 years full lifecycle program and project experience. She is a strong communicator able to build, motivate and lead global teams. She is highly experienced in executive level staleholder management. Lucy is skilled in vendor management including contract negotiation, management, offshore delivery and benefits realisation. She has a depth of experience and background in consultancy resulting in a rounded approach and positive early contribution. Lucy is highly self-motivated and delivery focussed. She gained International experience in the UK, Europe and USA.
Lucy holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne and has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Science with Swinburne University.
